Overview
Real-time commissioning uses high-resolution wireless sensors to capture building environmental data, coupled with smart-meter energy consumption data to optimize building performance, thermal comfort and indoor air quality. Achieving this optimal balance reduces energy consumption while improving occupant comfort – which in turn increases productivity and reduces absenteeism.
The Solution
Real-time commissioning bridges two of arbnco’s existing solutions: the arbn insight energy management tool, and the arbn well indoor air quality platform. Application of sophisticated data analytics in conjunction with our structured commissioning approach provides ongoing building optimization capabilities.
Step 1
Establish baseline
arbn insight provides performance benchmarking and baseline energy consumption visibility from which performance gains can be tracked and analyzed.
Step 2
Deploy Wireless Monitoring
arbn well wireless high-resolution sensors are deployed within the building occupant work space to capture real-time data on temperature, humidity, CO2, TVOC’s, PM, and Lighting – indicators of indoor environmental quality and thermal comfort.
Step 3
Identify measures and savings potential
arbn insight provides performance benchmarking and baseline energy consumption visibility from which performance gains can be tracked and analyzed.
Step 4
Integrate
The power of real-time building optimization enabled by arbnco MBCx. Direct integration of thermal comfort and IAQ indicators with the building control systems achieves a previously unobtainable level of performance optimization.
Step 5
Ongoing
MBCx continually monitors the building space for changes in operating parameters while recommending actions to address performance drift.
