Energy Efficiency for Commercial Customers
Introducing arbnco’s brand new Digital Energy Efficiency Platform – DEEP. Funded by BEIS as part of the Climate Change and Energy programme, arbnco have created a new and unique way for all businesses to reduce their energy consumption and carbon intensity. The platform takes advantage of the growing number of smart meters installed in the UK, providing detailed interval data on the energy consumption of our buildings. Each user is invited to register for an account, and provide the simplest information set on the property they wish to improve. This will include confirming consent to acquire energy data from the smart meter or from the energy supplier. Once analysed, the platform then provides detailed and specific recommendations for energy saving measures. These are presented in 3 categories:
Most Cost Effective
With the shortest playback period
Green Initiatives
Those with the highest carbon savings
Quick wins
Those with the lowest cost, including behavioural changes
But DEEP does not stop there
arbnco have then built the capability for a full marketplace of installers, approved and connected to provide quotations for
the works recommended, and the final requirement, finance providers looking to fund the measures under Green Finance
Initiatives. DEEP truly is the end-to-end solution for
commercial energy efficiency, carbon reduction and help the UK on the road to zero-carbon.
Project Partners
Led by arbnco, the project brings together expertise from multinational energy and services company Centrica, Energy Systems Catapult, Aston Business School, Durham County Council and sustainable finance company Cyan Finance.
