arbnco wins CIBSE Building Performance Award with arbn well

We’re thrilled to have taken home the award for “Product/Innovation of the Year – Wellbeing” at the CIBSE Building Performance Awards earlier this month for our arbn well indoor environment monitoring technology.

The awards, now in their 13th year, recognise engineering excellence in the built environment. At the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel in London, a delegation from the arbnco team (including a particularly dapper Parag Rastogi) was there to collect the award. We were up against some very stiff competition, so we are delighted to have been able to clinch it.

arbn well continues to be a unique offering in its market as the first high-density indoor environmental quality sensing service dedicated to health and wellbeing. The past year has seen considerable progress made in the product’s evolution, with partnerships with the likes of Arc Skoru Inc. and the University of California, Davis. We have also begun work on the development of our next generation of sensors (designed to monitor a greater range of pollutants), and further refinement of arbn well’s technical performance. So far, arbn well has been deployed in a number of different build types, including in the health and education sectors, as well as commercial offices. It has armed building managers with the information they need to ensure their indoor environment is as healthy and as productive as possible.

Judges pointed towards our collaboration with partners in both industry and academia, such as the US Green Building Council and Nuveen, and the extremely positive feedback received from these partnerships as reasons for arbnco’s win. They also cited the evidence of our continual efforts to improve and enhance the product, as well the flexibility granted by our creative as-a-service pricing structure. It’s always great to have our hard work and strategy recognised, and we’re immensely proud of the whole team for getting us here.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to the CIBSE events team for organising the awards, and congratulate all of the evening’s awardees for well-deserved wins. Taking home the CIBSE trophy was an excellent start for what we hope to be a very exciting year for arbn well.
